Hello, I need some advice. About 5 months ago, I was in a car accident where I had borrowed my brother's car to run a quick errand. I was not covered on the insurance for the vehicle. I was in a parking lot going straight about 15mph and another car from a feeder lane made a quick left turn (there was a stop sign for her) without paying attention and there was a collision. I am sixteen year old girl from New Hampshire, an honors student who runs cross country, and I have to pay for my own insurance because my parents don't have car insurance. Also, my car is a 1990 BMW 3.25 convertible, and I have only the limited funds supported by a part time job at Friendly's.

I hate insurance. I have no reason so far to need it. I'm a safe driver and i do not want my money to be drained into some company, which in time, will get more money from me than they spend to fix whatever may happen to my car. I don't want a flashy car. I only need a cheap one. So i could care less about dents and stuff. What is literally the cheapest auto insurance plan i can get in California? cheapest dollar for dollar.

Why is car insurance so expensive in the UK!?

So i'm not driving yet, only applied for a provisional, i'm age 17. But I thought why not try and figure out how much my insurance will be once i've passed and buy a car at roughly 1000, so I filled in all the details as accurate as possible on the compare websites and the cheapest yearly insurance price was 5600! How the hell am I suppose to afford this, am I doing something wrong haha :L

Courtesy Car Insurance?

Hi, everyone. I currently in Adelaide, SA. My car got some problems and need to return to the dealer to repair for a few days. They will provide a courtesy car/loan car for me to use for free. But they tell me if any accident is made, I will pay the insurance excess which amounts to $2000. So I want to buy an insurance to cover this excess. I have asked a lot of insurance companies and they do not have insurance like this. The one I know the insurance companies they provide is that if I rent a car from the car rental companies like budget and hertz but not from the car dealer. Anyone have any idea that any insurance company provide the insurance to cover the dealer courtesy car insurance excess? Thanks a lot, guys.

Hello: My husband and I are in the process of moving on in our life and figuring out the next step. Rather than moving ahead now and planning later I would rather plan now then move ahead. I feel that its not smart to start trying for a baby until we know if its going to be possible to afford health insurance. Right now we are both working fulltime but my work is not family friendly when it comes to health insurance. Currently to add my spouse and a child to my insurance whether its PPO or HMO its over $1,200 for us 3!!! When looking outside of my employer at what is out there its over $800! We make about $4,000 a month but after rent, car payments, cell phones, car insurance, bills, groceries, and gas we are left with only about $800 a month to live off of. And that is not nearly enough for a baby with daycare and health insurance!! We obviously dont qualify for state funding or and government assistance. I am just wondering if anything exists out there for people like us! :( Unfortunately it seems things would be easier if we both worked at a low income job or not worked at all!! Please help, I want a good future for us all and dont want to depend on government funding!!

I am 18, male, and just past my driving test, yeah the odds are against me already for insurance. I have Pass Plus, no convictions etc. I can't go under anyone's name because none of my parents drive. I work as a supervisor in retail. I live in Edinburgh and will be parking on a private driveway. No matter what car i choose, wheather it be a 1.6 Honda CRX Del DOL, the car I wanted (more chance of winning the lottery than getting insurance for it) or a crap 80's Fiat Panda 1.0 each quote is between 2,000 - 7,000, so should i just snap my Licence or is there something to bring it down ?

We are relocating to Massachusetts and are buying a home there. I have to get a home owners insurance quote for the lender and tried going through my current provider that I have multiple vehicles with hoping to get a discount for bundling the house into it. (I have Geico) They told me they will not insure our house because we own horses. Does anyone know a good company not too expensive that will insure a home with horses in Massachusetts?
